CONNECTING HABITAT ACROSS NEW JERSEY is a statewide effort to link together wildlife corridors with areas of core habitat. CHANJ hopes to help reduce road mortality for bobcats and other endangered species.






THE NATURE CONSERVANCY is working to create a wildlife corridor of preserved land in northwest New Jersey dubbed "Bobcat Alley."





WORKING DOGS FOR CONSERVATION is a non-profit that rescues dogs from shelters and trains them to become conservation detection dogs. Bear is a Working Dogs for Conservation alumni.


THE NATIONAL GENOMICS CENTER FOR WILDLIFE AND FISH CONSERVATION supports the study of molecular genetics in wildlife management. It's the lab that helped analyze bobcat scat collected by Gretchen and Bear.
